Hi blog. This is the very first time I have done this. So many people have asked to keep up to date with us on our travels that we decided to make this available to anyone who knows us. It all started out as what seemed “a good idea at the time”. Now with just one week to go, I’m not so sure. I think are probably insane. Panic set in a few days ago – will we forget anything – will we be ready in time – will we get on ok driving in US – will the trains go where we want them to – will we stay healthy? All of these things keep going around in the head, even though I know it will be ok once we start. I will top up my blog any time I can get on line, but essentially we fly to Miami next Saturday, hire a car to drive to Florida Keys, then back to Fort Lauderdale for a Bahamas cruise for 5 nights. Eventually we take the trai n across to San Francisco, and then hire another car for 3 weeks around the National Parks till we get to Las Vegas for the last 2 weeks of our marathon trip. We fly back on 10th December. I hope I can make my blog entertaining and anyone who takes the trouble to look will enjoy reading it. Bye for now.
